Kent County Dominate Washington, Move To 2-0

The Kent County Trojans hit the road Friday night and defeated Washington 53-18. The win improves the Trojans to 2-0, while the loss drops the Jaguars to 0-2.

The Trojans opened the game with a long drive capped off by a touchdown pass from Stevie Currian to Marquan Greene. It looked like the Jags were going to tie the game up after that, as they drove the length of the field but would fumble the ball at the 5 yard line. On the very next play, Currian would get picked off and Washington would return the ball all the way down to the 5. On the very next play after that though, Washington would fumble the ball away again to Kent County. The Trojans would then march down the field again and cap off the drive with another Currian to Greene touchdown. The Jaguars would eventually find their offense behind quarterback Julius White, and find the endzone three times, but the Trojans offense couldn’t be stopped as they coasted to the win.

Kent County returns to work next Friday when they travel to Colonel Richardson, while Washington travels to Queen Anne’s on Friday.
