Iran Nuclear Deal gains more support on Capitol Hill

Another U.S. Senator is supporting the Iran Nuclear Deal.

Senator Mark Warner of Virginia issued a statement today supporting the plan.

He says his decision did not come lightly. He believes the agreement will prevent Iran from having the means to develop a nuclear weapon for a long time.

His support comes after Senator Chris Coons and Tom Carper of Delaware and Senator Barbara Miksulski of Maryland announced their support for the agreement within the last week.

Democrats in the senate now have enough votes to make sure the deal survives a challenge from Republicans.
