Harrington man accused of tampering with water meter

A Harrington man turned himself in on Friday, after Police say he cut a lock off of a water meter.

Harrington Police say 43-year-old Dewayne Pickle, was charged with criminal mischief under $1,000, and theft of services under $1,500.

The charges stem from an incident where Officials say back in August, Pickle cut a City water meter on South Dupont Highway, which had been locked by Harrington Public Works for non payment.

He was later released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.
