Gas prices hit ten year low

Average gas prices following the close of the summer driving season are the lowest they’ve been in more than a decade according to AAA.

The auto club says the Washington metro area average for unleaded gas was $2.34 per gallon Sunday, which matched the national average.

Gas prices have also been lower throughout the summer season season compared with last year AAA says.

According to them motorists are now paying more than a dollar less than what they were paying this time last year.
