Five charged for DUI during multi-agency operation in Wicomico County

Law enforcement in Wicomico County worked together this weekend, to held keep drunk drivers off the roads.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says the multi-agency operation was to target drunk and impaired drivers. The Sheriff’s Office, along with Maryland State Police – Salisbury Barrack, Maryland Natural Resources Police, Fruitland Police, and Delmar Police, worked from 9:00 PM on Saturday until 3:00 AM Sunday.

Five were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, two for driving while suspended, and two for driving without a license. Police also nabbed one for possession of heroin, four received civil citations for possession of marijuana, and three for underage possession of alcohol.
