DSP investigating shooting at Dover apartment complex

Delaware State Police say they are investigating a shooting in Dover, that left one man hospitalized.
Authorities say on Friday, they responded to Alder Park Apartments for a reports of gunfire. When they arrived, officials say police couldn’t find anything relating to a shooting and no witnesses came forward.
Police say, within five minutes of the initial call, a 25-year-old man was brought to Kent General Hospital with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
An investigation into the shooting found that the man was shot while standing outside the apartment complex. The victim was eventually air lifted to Christiana Medical Center. Police say his status is unknown.
According to police, there is no suspect information at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
