DSP investigating fatal motorcycle crash in Sussex Co.

Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Sussex County.
According to reports, On Monday evening, Darrell Waller Jr., 56, of Pittsburgh was driving his motorcycle Westbound on Broadkill Road, near Bay Shore Drive. Police say he lost control of the motorcycle, crossed the Eastbound lanes and eventually hit a road sign. Reports say the bike then went down an embankment. At this time, Waller and his wife were ejected to a marsh area.
Waller, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife, Lucinda Waller, 56, of Pittsburgh, was also wearing a helmet. She was eventually transported to Beebe Healthcare and admitted with undetermined injuries.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. Alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor in this case.
