Downtown Trolley returns to Salisbury starting Thursday

The trolley is headed by to Downtown Salisbury for the semester. The City of Salisbury announced on Thursday that they, along with Salisbury University, are bringing back the Downtown Trolley, starting at 9:00 PM on Thursday.
This service is available to Salisbury University students, along with community members for a $1 per boarding. The Trolley connects Salisbury University and surrounding areas, with Downtown Salisbury. The route starts at in front of the Perdue School of Business, and now even features a stop at Headquarters Live.
Additional stops include University Park Apartments, University Orchard At Salisbury, flag stop at South Division & Onley Street – convenient for those that live at Salisbury Housing, University Village, and Cedar Commons, Evolution Craft Brewing Company, beginning of Main Street – convenient to MoJo’s, Headquarters Live – also convenient to The Brick Room & Market Street Inn Restaurant & Pub), at the end of the Salisbury Downtown Plaza – convenient to Roadie Joe’s Bar and Grill and Brew River Restaurant and Bar!
The Downtown Trolley runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9:00 PM until about 2:00 AM. On 1st Saturdays and 3rd Fridays, hours will be added from 5:00 until 7:15 PM, before resuming regular hours.
The Trolley, which took a break for the summer, is funded by a $50,000 grant from the Maryland Transit Administration, and a $16,000 per-semester allotment from the City of Salisbury.
