Dover downtown cleanup day

Staff members from the City of Dover have announced they will collaborate with organizations in the area and volunteers, to make an effort in cleaning up part of the Downtown Development District.
Earlier this year, Dover received $7 million, in an effort to revitalize certain areas and in turn hopefully alleviate some of the crime the city has experienced.
This Saturday, the group will meet from 8 A.M. until 2 P.M., at the vacant lot at the corner of Governors and Fulton.
Ann Marie Townshend will be the contact for the event. Anyone with questions should contact the City of Dover Planning Office at 302-736-7196.
