Caravel Gets Past Delmar In Double-OT

The Delmar Wildcats played host to the Caravel Buccaneers on Friday night and the home team went to work early on.

The Wildcats managed to take a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, while making it 14-0 in the second quarter with a pass from Jimmy Adkins to Jeff Whiten for the score. The Buccaneers would respond with a touchdown of their own late in the second quarter, and followed that with a big interception to end the 2nd quarter.

Delmar and Caravel headed into halftime with the Wildcats, 14-7, but the Bucs took the game in double-overtime, 32-24 the final.
