Bucs corral Indians at home

The Kent Island Buccaneers used a 5-0 run in the second half on their way to defeat the WiHi Indians 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

Jackson Kratovil got the scoring started for the Buccaneers in the 34′ minute when he followed a Carter Duncan shot which was stopped by WiHi goalie Luke Edson. Blake Groves would get another header into the back of the net in the final five minutes before the half to extend their lead to 2-0.

KI travels to St. Michaels to take on the Saints on Monday, Sept. 13th, while WiHi travels to Crisfield to take on the Crabbers on Thursday, Sept. 10th.
