Bleach and alcohol assault leads to attempted murder charges for Salisbury woman

A Salisbury woman is accused of setting her boyfriend on fire, and dousing him in bleach and alcohol.

Salisbury Police say on Monday, just before 1:00 AM, Officer responded to a home on Fitzwater Street, for reports of a domestic assault. During their investigation, Officials say they learned that 53-year-old Natalie Robinson, and her 48-year-old live-in boyfriend, were arguing inside the home. Police say the argument turned physical, during which Robinson threw bleach into the victim’s face, and rubbing alcohol onto his upper torso, and face, before setting him on fire.

The victim was apparently able to put out the flames, and run from the home, before contacting Police. Police say they quickly found Robinson, and took her into custody.

The victim was rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and released. Police say they were able to search the home, and seized evidence supporting the victim’s claims.

Robinson was charged with attempted first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault. She is currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center, without bond.
