2015 USSSA tournament numbers show positive impact

The USSSA softball tournament might be over, but tourism officials now have some great news for Wicomico and Worcester counties.

Steve Miller, with Wicomico County Tourism, tells 47 ABC that the 3-week tournament brought in an estimated $20,000,000 in revenue for the area.

This is thanks to the 20,000 athletes and their families who visited and spent their money.

In just hotels alone, 11,000 room nights were booked over the 3-week span.
