Woman critical but stable after motorcycle crash in Delaware

(AP) Officials say a woman riding a motorcycle was in critical but stable condition after she collided with a pick-up truck in New Castle.

The New Castle County Department of Public Safety Emergency Medical Services Division says the collision happened early Saturday at the intersection of N. DuPont Highway and Memorial Drive. Officials say the 38-year-old woman was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. They say she sustained multiple fractures to both arms and a possible pelvic fracture.

Police did not release the identity of the woman or the driver of the pick-up truck.
