UPDATE: Victim of Wednesday shooting in serious condition

Police in Salisbury say they are looking for information, after a 24-year-old Salisbury man was shot in the back on Wednesday night.
Police originally stated that the man, Shawn Woodford, 24, was rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. 47 ABC has since discovered that Woodford has been transferred to University of Maryland Shock Trauma where he is listed in serious condition.
Salisbury Police say around 11:00 PM, Officers responded to Delaware Avenue, for reports of a shooting.
According to the report, Woodford was with a group of men in the area, when an argument broke out, during which the suspect fired one round from a handgun at Woodford, before fleeing. Police describe the suspect as a 6′ tall man, with a large build, last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black pants.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore at 410-548-1776. They are offering an up to $1,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest.
Police say the investigation into the incident is on-going at this time.
