UPDATE: Pedestrian identified in fatal Frankford crash

Delaware State Police say one man is dead following an early morning crash, involving a pedestrian and bus.
Authorities say Millsboro man Sylvester Bailey, 56, was killed after being struck by a 2001 Van Hool Coach Bus while he was reportedly walking in the right lane of northbound US 113 around 3:32 a.m. Saturday.
The bus, driven by New York man 47-year-old Lin Jin Wei, was carrying 47 passengers. We’re told Wei was properly restrained and did not suffer any injuries. Authorities say none of the passengers were hurt from the crash.
According to police, alcohol appears to be a factor on the part of the pedestrian. They say speed was not a factor on the bus.
The northbound lanes of US 113, about 1/4 mile north of Delaware Street and approximately a half mile south of Frankford, were closed for approximately three hours Saturday.
The crash remains under investigation.
