UPDATE: Milford PD identify homicide victim

Authorities with the Milford Police Department say they are investigating the homicide of a 40-year-old man.

Police have identified the victim as 40-year-old John Harmon, who was found unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound on the 500 block of N. Walnut in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Harmon was reportedly transported to Milford Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to Sergeant Michael McMillan, the incident happened during the course of a home invasion.
