UPDATE: Man indicted for body found along Accomack Co. roadway

An Onley man, who is already behind bars, has been indicted in the death of an Accomack County man, whose body was found along a busy road earlier in the summer.

According to the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Northan Jr., was indicted on August 3, which charged him with first degree murder, robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

This comes after the body of Ronnie Washington was was found along Beartown Road near Mappsville on July 7.

Northan has been behind bars since July 14, on unrelated charges, and has  apparently been denied bond.
