UPDATE: Burglary suspect arrested following pursuit

Smyrna police say a man suspected of multiple burglaries is behind cars following a brief pursuit overnight Saturday.
Authorities reportedly arrived near Lincoln Street around 12:25 a.m. Saturday in search of 22-year-old Ezekiel Sullivan because of numerous active warrants.
According to police, an officer observed Sullivan standing on the street and as the officer approached and attempted to take Sullivan into custody, he resisted and ran on foot from the officer.
Corporal Brandon Dunning of the Smyrna Police Department says that with the assistance of the Clayton Police and a K-9 unit from Delaware State Police, Sullivan was found hiding the bushes near Lincoln Street and Mt. Vernon Street.
Sullivan was arrested in connection with four burglaries in the Smyrna area from July 30th to August 4th. He has been charged with resisting arrest, three counts of burglary in the 3rd degree, one count of burglary in the 2nd degree, three counts of criminal mischief, four counts of theft under $1500, two counts of possession of burglary tools, and one count of conspiracy in the 2nd degree.
Sullivan was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 7 via video phone and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of a $15,000.00 secured bond.
