The City of Salisbury Officials say they have three people in custody for the Saturday night murder of a 17-year-old Fruitland teen.

According to Officials, they have three men in custody, Jarrett Vaughn Stokes, and Ky’Shir Tariq Connally, both 18-year-olds from Delmar, and a 20-year-old Larry Allen Lamar Ennis, from Salisbury.

Stokes and Connally were reportedly taken into custody on Tuesday, a two separate locations near Delmar, while Ennis was taken into custody in Dover on Wednesday around 4:00 PM. Ennis has reportedly waived extradition, and will be returned to Wicomico County. Stokes and Connally are currently behind bars at the Wicomico County Detention Center without bond.

Police say all three are charged with first and second degree murder, and other related counts for the shooting death of 17-year-old Rakim Russell, of Fruitland, at the America’s Best Value Inn in Salisbury on Saturday night. Other charges include conspiracy to commit murder, assault 1st degree, reckless endangerment, and handgun use in a felony.

Russell was reportedly shot in the parking lot of the Inn on Route 13, as he left a party, just after midnight. Russell was hit one time, and rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
