Two shootings under investigation in Dover, one injured

Two shootings that reportedly happened within minutes of each other on Monday afternoon, in Dover, are under investigation.

Dover Police say Officers responded to reports of a shooting where a maroon or dark red Chevrolet Equinox was driving through the Manchester Square and Stevenson Drive area, and fired several shots from the vehicle. Twenty two caliber rounds were apparently recovered at the scene.

Just moments later, Officers responded to reports of a second shooting, this time at Dover Park. Police say one man had apparently fired six rounds. Forty five caliber rounds were reportedly recovered at the scene.

Police say three hours after the shootings, an 18-year-old man went to Bayhealth Kent General for treatment of a non-puncture gunshot wound to his foot.
