State Police say they have arrested two people, and are looking for a third in connection with a home invasion that happened in Rehoboth Beach on Tuesday.

Delaware State Police say Troopers responded to a home Washington Street around 12:25 AM, for reports of a home invasion. Troopers say they spoke with the 27-year-old victim, and a female acquaintance, who were both inside watching a movie, when two men went into the home, and demanded money. Police say the suspect had their faces covered, and were armed with a hammer. The victim apparently handed over several items, and the suspects fled. No injuries were reported.

During their investigation, Troopers apparently found that the female acquaintance, Cory Bynaker, 23 of Smyrna, had given investigators a false name, and was wanted by Smyrna Police. She was then arrested. Detectives say further investigation showed that Bynaker was an acquaintance of the two male suspects, 36-year-old Christopher Bacon, of Smyrna, and 24-year-old Mark Jenkins Jr., of Clayton, and was actively involved in the home invasion.

Bynaker was charged with robbery first degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, home invasion, burglary first degree, aggravated menacing, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, conspiracy second degree, terroristic threatening, two counts of theft, and criminal impersonation. She is being held at Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $100,000 cash bond.

On Wednesday, Troopers say the Clayton Police Department was able to arrest Bacon, on Cardington Court. He was then turned over to Troop 4, and was charged with robbery first degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, home invasion, burglary first degree, aggravated menacing, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, conspiracy second degree, terroristic threatening, and two counts of theft. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $175,000 secured bond.

State Police say they have a warrant for Jenkins, charging him with similar offenses. He also apparently has several outstanding capiases out of the Kent County Superior Court, and the Kent County Court of Common Pleas. Police describe Jenkins as a 24-year-old white man, standing 5′ 8″ tall, weighing 150 pounds, with blue eyes and black hair.

He is reportedly believed to be in the Smyrna or Clayton area. Anyone who has information about Mark Jenkins Jr.’s whereabout is asked to contact Troop 4 Detective J. Jones Major Crimes Unit at 302-752-3795 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
