Sussex Tech Football Preview

The Sussex Tech Ravens are looking to build off of their success in the 2014 season with another great run this year. The team returns nearly all of their defense, and a few key players on offense, while will have to move on without one of the top players in the programs history.
The Ravens finished the season 10-2, making it all the way to the state semifinals where they eventually lost to Middletown. That team was lead by 3x All-State running back Kani Kane, who has since graduated. On top of that, the team loses several other key players like Travis Quillin, Jamont Matthews, and Xavier Drummond.
The team however returns some crucial players though, such as starting quarterback Justin Hill who is expected to see his role expand headed into his senior season. The team will now lean on Patrick Griffin out of the back field, after he had a solid junior campaign. The defense though looks to be the calling card of this years team as they return nearly all their starters on that side of the ball.
