Suspect wanted in armed robbery in Dover

The Dover Police Department say they are investigating an armed burglary at the Dollar Tree in Dover.

According to reports, the incident happened at 10:30 PM on Thursday at the Dollar Tree on North DuPont Highway. Investigators say, the suspect entered the business and handed a note to the employees stating he had a gun and demanded money.  During the course of the robbery, the suspect allegedly pulled a firearm from his shorts and pointed it at employees. The employees reportedly complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. Reports say, the suspect then fled the scene southbound from the store.
