Salisbury girl gets ‘wish’ granted
A local young girl is getting the trip of a lifetime.
We’re told 7-year-old Ashlynn Bruce of Salisbury has a rare blood disorder, where her body does not make red blood cells.
According to Patricia Bruce, Ashlynn has required bloods transfusions every three weeks to live since birth and she received her 126th transfusion this year.
Recently, she got her wish granted from the Make-A-Wish foundation. We’re told she and her family will be heading to Disney World on Monday morning, and a limousine will take them to the BWI Airport..
