Police reportedly recover pound of marijuana during Ridgely home search

A Ridgely man is facing drug and weapons charges in Caroline County, after investigators reportedly found more than a pound of weed at his home. The Caroline County Drug Task Force says on Thursday morning, they searched an apartment on Maryland Avenue, and arrested 23-year-old Dominick Dixon.
During the search, Investigators say they found over one pound of marijuana packaged for distribution, a loaded .357 caliber revolver, a loaded .22 caliber revolver, and a .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun, along with digital scales, and over $1,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
Dixon is reportedly prohibited from owning any firearms because of prior felony convictions. He was charged with firearm/drug trafficking crime, CDS possession firearms, CDS possession with the intent to distribute, CDS possession marijuana, regulated firearm illegal possession, firearm possession with felony conviction, knowingly alter firearm ID number, CDS possession paraphernalia, and illegal possession ammunition.
Following an initial appearance, Dixon is now being held without bond.
