Philadelphia man charged for Seaford KFC armed robbery

A Philadelphia man is behind bars, in connection with the armed robbery of a Seaford fast food restaurant on Monday evening.
Seaford Police say it all happened just after 8:00 PM at the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Sussex Highway. Officers say they met with an employee on scene, who said that a man had come into the restaurant armed with a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect apparently fled after getting an undisclosed amount of cash from the KFC.
Seaford PD’s Criminal Investigations unit assumed the investigation, and says they checked out surveillance cameras from various businesses in the area, and found the suspect going into the Days Inn further down Sussex Highway.
Officers were apparently able to arrest the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Alan Dorman, during which they say they found 2.7 grams of crack cocaine, and 1.7 grams of marijuana. Police say they also found the clothing that Dorman wore during the robbery.
He was then charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, tampering with physical evidence, possession of control substance – crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, and 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dorman was then held on a $75,000 cash bond, pending an upcoming court date.
