Last “Operation In The House” suspect arrested

Delaware State Police Sergeant Richard Bratz tells 47 ABC the last suspect sought for his involvement in a massive Delaware drug and crime bust has been apprehended in Philadelphia.

At last check, Rhamir Waples, 19, of Philadelphia, had an extradition hearing on Monday, but there is no word on the outcome of that as of yet. 47 ABC reached out for comment from the Philadelphia Police Department and are awaiting a response.

Waples and 34 others have been charged with their involvement in a massive drug and crime ring in Sussex and Kent Counties in Delaware.

Back on March, the Delaware State Police launched “Operation in the House,” aimed at targeting subjects participating in an organized criminal enterprise. 

Investigators established that Waples, along with Steven Kellam, Richard Robinson, Shamir Stratton, Damon Bethea, and Carlton Gibbs reportedly operated in a criminal network that targeted specific victims for several home invasion robberies. 

On one instance in January 2014 in Millsboro, Del., troopers say Waples, along with Kellam, Robinson, Stratton, Bethea, and Gibbs, were charged with the murder of victims Cletis Nelson and William Hopkins.

At last check, Waples is facing 81 charges, including First Degree Murder and Robbery charges.
