Lake Forest Spartans Football Preview

The Lake Forest Spartans are looking to build off their tremendous 2014 campaign with another big season this year.  The Spartans opened last season with a perfect 10-0 mark, before losing to Hodgson in the first round of the state playoffs.

That team featured one of the top defenses in the state, anchored by conference defensive player of the year John Flamer. He has since graduated, along with a few other big seniors like DJ Cornish. The Spartans however return a few key players, including their QB Noah Feague-Johnson who looks primed to have a big year. While Lake will continue to feature their triple option offense, the team expects to let the senior QB air it out a little more this year and test teams down the field. 

The Spartans open the year September 11th when they host Hodgson.
