Kent Island Buccaneers Football Preview

The Kent Island Buccaneers football squad is taking the field in 2015 with a different look from the players, all the way up to the coaching staff. Perhaps, one of the biggest changes, comes from the retirement of head coach, Bryon Sofinowski, but he made sure the reigns were passed down to the right man.

Current Kent Island head coach, Damion Ferragamo, is quite familiar with this winning caliber type of football – as he has a state championship of his own while he was a head coach at Old Mill. Ferragamo has been an assistant coach with the Bucs since 2011, and although he and Sofinowski have two vastly different coaching styles, they both believe in running the football.

The Bucs graduated quite a few powerful running backs from last season, but they are confident that current players will get the job done as well.
