Easton man behind bars after reported home invasion

An Easton man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a woman’s house three times and assaulted her.
Earlier Thursday morning, Easton Police say officers were called to High Street in Easton for a reported domestic assault in progress. According to reports, officers met with the victim who told them her ex-boyfriend, Keith Truxon, 29, of Easton had broken into her house three separate times over the course of a few hours.
An investigation found that Truxon had broken in through the front door and threatened to hit her with a frying pan. He left, and returned a second time, broke into the house again, and he apparently began destroying some of her property. He left again, and police say he came back a third time. This time, after breaking into the house, Truxon apparently began chocking the victim and slammed her head on a fireplace.
After the third time, police say he fled the scene again. Reports say Mr. Truxon was eventually taken into custody.
He is facing some twenty charges including first degree burglary, first and second degree assault, and home invasion.
He is being held on bond.
