DSP investigates fatal crash in Odessa

Delaware State Police are advising that commuters use alternate routes as they investigate a single motorcycle crash at U.S. 13 and Marl Pit Road in Odessa.

We’re told the crash occurred around 7:40 this evening.

Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that one person died as a result of the accident.

According to police, the northbound and southbound lanes of DuPont Parkway are currently closed between Marl Pit Road and Route 299.
