Delaware wildfire crew fights blaze in California

The Delaware Forest Service say they have joined with four 20-person crews from Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania in an effort to extinguish an outbreak of lightning-caused wildfires around Hayfork, California.
California has reportedly declared a state of emergency and the Northern California Region is now at its maximum Preparedness Level of five out of five.
There are approximately 1,500 personnel currently assigned to an incident, including those members of the Delaware Forest Service.
The crew is concentrated in the Fork Complex, which consists of approximately 40 fires totaling more than 25,000 acres.
Officials say all of the blazes sparked last week between July 29 and July 31, 2015 were ignited by lightning and are currently listed as only 5 percent contained.
