Connally Worcester County hearing postponed

As it stands right now, Ky’shir Connally is set to be in Wicomico County court on September 3rd for murder charges and then the next day in Worcester County court for a number of theft charges.

The 18-year-old was supposed to be have a preliminary hearing for the theft charges Wednesday, but it was postponed.

Connally is being held in Wicomico County for the shooting death of 17-year old Rakim Russell on August 2nd. He’s one of three men charged in that case.

In July, Connally allegedly broke into an Ocean City condominium through a window had sex with a female acquaintance who was with him and then left after stealing a pair of shoes.

A public defender tells 47 ABC his hearing was postponed Wednesday because the Wicomico County Detention Center was not given enough advanced notice to have Connally transported to the court house in Ocean City.
