Aug. 18 – Running of the Goat 5k

A new 5k run/ walk, Arena’s Running of the Goat, planned for Friday, Aug. 21 will benefit the Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club.

The run (or walk) starts at 6:30 p.m. and finishes in front of the presenting sponsor, Arena’s in Milford, and will take participants (runners and walkers) along the Mispillion Riverwalk out to Goat Island and back. The course is unique in that it incorporates a variety of terrains, ranging from sidewalks and paved streets to the challenging half-mile trail around the island.

A highlight of this benefit is the post-race party featuring beer and bands in Arena’s parking lot. Spectators and family members may participate in the party by purchasing a wristband admission.
