Willards man arrested for assaulting roommate over blanket

A Willards man is behind bars, after he apparently assaulted his roommate, over a blanket.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on Thursday around 1:35 AM, a Deputy responded to a home on Canal Street for reports of an assault. Once on scene, The Deputy says 35-year-old Brandon Foutz was arguing with the woman he lives with about a blanket.

According to the report, Foutz threw the woman into a wall, before taking her to the ground. The Deputy reportedly found injuries on the victim that corroborated her account.

Foutz was arrested, and charged with assault 2nd degree, and reckless endangerment. He is now being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center on a $40,000 bond.
