UPDATE: Wanted Milford man arrested after reportedly injuring Dover PD Officer

A wanted Milford man is finally behind bars, after he reportedly hit a Police Officer with his vehicle while fleeing custody in late June.
Dover Police say on Thursday morning, the US Marshal’s Delaware Task Force arrested 25-year-old John Pauley, on Jefferson Woods Drive, in Harrington. Pauley was wanted in connection to a June 26 incident, where Police say he ran a stop sign, and was stopped.
During the stop, the Officers says they found that Pauley was wanted by Superior Court, including a violation of probation. According to the report, as Officers tried to arrest Pauley, he fled in his gray 2001 Chevrolet 2500 truck, hitting an Officer in the hand in the process. The Officer had minor injuries to his hand.
Pauley was charged with assault 2nd degree, resisting arrest with force/violence, disregard police officer signal, and numerous traffic violations. The Dover Police Department and the Delaware State Police Governor’s Task Force reportedly assisted the US Marshal’s.
