UPDATE: Suspect named in Ocean Pines police pursuit

Authorities in Ocean Pines are on the search for a suspect wanted for several active warrants.

The Worcester County Sheriffs Office says they are searching for Joshua Porter who was last seen wearing tan cargo shorts and a blue shirt. According to reports, Porter fled on foot at about 5:00PM yesterday in the area of Starboard Court. A lengthy search was conducted for Porter using K-9 units and help from numerous agencies but officials apparently came up empty handed.

Officials with the Sheriff’s Office tells 47 ABC there is no danger to the public. Anyone with information is asked to call their local police department or 911.
