UPDATE: Reported crash closes down part of Rt. 13

Officials from the Virginia Department of Transportation say southbound lanes of Lankford Highway have reopened after a reported crash at the corner of Route 13 and Wachapreague Road.

There is no word yet on the condition of any potential victims. Reports say the crash could have involved a motorcycle, but 47 ABC could not confirm that with authorities.

VDOT announced a detour has set up a detour at Adams Crossing Road. 47 ABC will bring you more details as it becomes available.
