UPDATE: Major water main break in Selbyville

Residents in Selbyville experienced a water outage, after police say a major water main broke.

The break reportedly occurred in the area of Church Street and Baker Alley, after an utility company hit a Water Main.

Officials say the water service has been repaired and roads have reopened, but residents should expect reduced water pressure.

Authorities are still asking residents to boil their water before consuming, and refrain from lawn irrigation until further notice.
