UPDATE: 15 people hospitalized following crash

Police say 15 people were injured following a four vehicle crash.

According to Corporal Jeffrey Hale of the Delaware State Police, the crash happened just before noon Sunday at the intersection of Route 113 and Dagsboro Road.

The 15 people were reportedly transported to area hospitals.

Of the 15, 11 were treated for non-life threatening injuries and one was transported Christiana Hospital in New Castle County with serious injuries.

We’re told the intersection of U.S. 113 and Handy Road was closed for an hour and a half during the crash investigation.
