Two wanted on burglary charges in Georgetown

WANTED: Johnny Smith, 30, and Brooke L. Miller, 19, both of Harrington, Delaware

State Police say they are looking for two people, who burglarized a Georgetown home.

Delaware State Police say on Friday, around 11:35 AM, Troopers responded to a home on Savannah Road, for reports of a burglary. Once on scene, Police say they found that the suspects made their way into the house, by damaging the front door.

While inside, Authorities claim the burglars stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry before fleeing in a Volkswagen Jetta. Detectives say their investigation led to 30-year-old Johnny Smith, and 19-year-old Brooke Miller, both of Harrington, who are now both wanted.

According to the report, Miller went to the victim’s home, and tried to speak with her, which Police say is tampering with a witness. Smith and Miller are now both wanted on charges including burglary 2nd degree, attempting to tamper with a witness, criminal mischief, and theft. Smith is described as a white man standing 5′ 11″ tall, weighing 165 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair, while Miller is described as a 5′ 7″ tall white woman, weighing 129 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
