Two arrested on drug charges in Georgetown

Two men have been arrested, after a two month long drug investigation in Georgetown.
Delaware State Police say they wrapped up the two month investigation centered on a house on Hollis Road, on Thursday. During the investigation, Troopers with the Sussex County Drug Unit and the Governor’s Task Force, reportedly found that illegal drugs were being used and sold at the home.
On Thursday, Troopers say they stopped a vehicle as it left the house, and arrested, 65-year-old Lester Thompson, of Millsboro, after they found 3.4 grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia on him. Thompson was charged with possession of crack cocaine, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.
Troopers say they then searched the Hollis Road home, and found 3.5 grams of crack cocaine, 9.0 grams of powder cocaine, two digital scales, a magazine loaded with .45 caliber ammunition, a box of .32 caliber ammunition, hidden holster under a recliner, and over $2,000 in suspected drug proceeds. They also arrested 40-year-old Osborne at the house. He is reportedly a convicted felon.
Osborne was charged with possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited with prior violent crime, possession with the intent to deliver powder cocaine, possession with the intent to deliver crack cocaine, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to be held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $25,000 secured bond.
