Tri-County gets 5th win in 6 games, downs State-Line Strutters

Jack Cheyney broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning, plating Corey Willey and Jake Townsend, to give Tri-County the 2-0 lead, eventually the team went on to win 12-6.

Starting pitchers Juan Guzman and Spencer Gillis both held things scoreless thru 3 innings, until Cheyney broke threw for Tri-County. Caleb Taylor got the Strutters on the board shortly after Tri-County scored, plating Jeff Geary.

Tri-County’s next game is July 8th against State Line once again, while the Strutters host the Thunder on Sunday, at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex.
