SHA holding public meeting for Route 33 improvements

A public meeting has been planned, to discuss a road construction project in St. Michaels, aimed to improve drainage and keep pedestrians safer.
The Maryland State Highway Administration says they will have a presentation about an urban reconstruction project on MD 33 – Talbot Street, on Thursday, July 9 at St. Michaels Middle/High School. The project will reportedly improve pedestrian safety and accessibility, and upgrade drainage along Route 33, from Yacht Club Road to Pea Neck Road in St. Michaels.
The meeting will address concerns and questions that residents might have about the plan. Maps and other displays will also be available to view. The meeting will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, but those interested can visit at any time within those hours, to check out the charts.
