Pursuit suspect sought near Route 90 bridge

A pursuit for a suspect led police into Ocean Pines Monday evening after the suspect reportedly fled on foot.

Very few details are available; however, we’re told the search happened near Route 90 and Ocean Parkway.

An official from the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office was not able to confirm exactly why police were searching for the suspect, but we’re told they have received information on the identification of the suspect. We’re told they will be getting a search warrant.

Details on the suspect’s identification have not been made available to media; however, police tell 47 ABC there is no danger to the public.

Police say the investigation is no longer active.
