Police: Man arrested for indecent exposure

Easton Police say a man is behind bars on charges including indecent exposure at a local hotel.

Around 3:50 a.m. Saturday, police say they responded to the Econo Lodge on Route 50 after reports of a man walking around without clothes on.

According to police reports, officers checked the area of the hotel and a few U-Haul trucks that were parked nearby. Officers say the rear door of one of the trucks was open and when they inspected, they reportedly found 48-year-old Derek Guridi to be hiding in the rear of the vehicle.

Guridi had allegedly been walking around the Econo Lodge naked and attempted to enter the building.

Police placed the suspect under arrest and charged him with 4th Degree Burglary, Trespass: Private Property, Indecent exposure and Disorderly conduct.

Authorities say Guridi also had an outstanding Bench warrant for Failure to appear in Talbot county District court in regards to an earlier Driving While Intoxicated charge.

Guridi was taken before a District court commissioner where he was ordered held in the Talbot County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond on the criminal charges and $15,000 bond for the Bench warrant.
