Over 2,000 arrested this year following Checkpoint Strikeforce

With so much traffic on Delmarva this summer, it’s important to remind folks to be safe out there and most importantly, don’t drive drunk.
Already this year, Checkpoint Strikeforce in Delaware arrested 2,250 people for DUI. The sobriety check points are set up in various locations including Kent County, Sussex County and New Castle County.
They’re not only on the look out for those under the influence of alcohol, but drugs as well. Just in the past week, there have been 90 arrests statewide.
