“Operation We Care” accepts hefty donation

A generous donation from one organization to another.
Thursday night, Jeff Merritt, the president of “Operation We Care”, accepted a check of $2,000 from local motorcycle club “Brothers At Arms” at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
Merritt says the money will go towards sending out care packages to armed service members, which is the organization’s primary focus.
He tells 47 ABC that this donation will help “Operation We Care” fund future events and take care of those serving our country.
“There’s a lot of things we’ve gotten involved in over the past several years that require funds. So, funds like this are definitely appreciated and help keep providing the support that we do.” Said Merritt.
