Officials still working post Md. General Assembly

Even though the session is over, representatives are still hard at work in Annapolis.

According to District 38-B delegate Carl Anderton, Jr. they travel there about twice a week to discuss concerns and priorities that residents bring up to elected officials.

Delegate Anderton says major one includes ensuring that businesses not only grow in Maryland, but survive. He says another concern includes sales taxes.

“That’s the priority, you know? We’re always looking at the tax structure.” Explains Anderton. “If there’s some ways we can cut some waste and put some money back into the people’s pockets then I, for one, and am for it.”
